In the 2nd minute Håkan Joensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Lilla Jordberga BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Abreu came free, but Sven-Olof Zander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Ove Rönn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Lilla Jordberga BK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Håkan Joensson hit a great ball. Lilla Jordberga BK's Sven-Olof Zander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Mero in the 10th minute of play. Ted Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Olof Zander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Abreu in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gavino Roldan hit a great ball. Sven-Olof Zander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Abreu in the 24th minute of play. Gavino Roldan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Argentinos Juniors's Agustin Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Joensson in the 30th minute of play. Sven-Olof Zander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Olof Zander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Roldan in the 46th minute.

Argentinos Juniors's Dalmacio Esdras was substituted for Gavino Roldan. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ted Hansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Joensson in the 52nd minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Agustin Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, Lilla Jordberga BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Haeger to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Olof Zander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Esdras in the 58th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Anders Haeger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lilla Jordberga BK and the Argentinos Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agustin Matro was a little too slow when Christopher Örn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 2-1. Agustin Matro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christopher Örn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. Ove Rönn hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Lilla Jordberga BK's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Esdras came free, but Sven-Olof Zander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Argentinos Juniors's Hipolito Mero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Olof Zander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Argentinos Juniors had won after a very even match.
