An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Ermengol in the 11th minute of play forced Descamisados CF's goalkeeper Marcelito Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelito Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Ermengol's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Pendex's Abel Bermudez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelito Barovero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pastor Oso's late challenge caught a Descamisados CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Esteve Elija took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelito Barovero. Descamisados CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Descamisados CF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Gauargi came free, but Marcelito Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelito Barovero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Descamisados CF defense, Marcelino Ermengol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelito Barovero. The Descamisados CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelito Barovero should have stopped the shot. Marcelito Barovero came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Pendex's Abel Bermudez. But to his dismay, Abel Bermudez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Marcelino Ermengol made a precise shot to the right of Marcelito Barovero. Descamisados CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Ermengol in the 45th minute of play forced Descamisados CF's goalkeeper Marcelito Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Pendex were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marcelito Barovero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 62 minutes of play, Pendex's Cristian Gauargi made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelito Barovero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelito Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Bermudez in the 68th minute of play. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Gavino Isauro sped through Pendex's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guaberto Orlandus. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Ermengol got free with Marcelito Barovero in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the game, Abel Bermudez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelito Barovero. Abel Bermudez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Igor Esdras took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Marcelito Barovero to make any attempt to save it. Marcelito Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Bermudez in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Pendex left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Descamisados CF.
