With an extended leg and a bit of luck Biagio Sessa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th match minute, AC Korban was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Lucas to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, AC Korban's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Ruggeri came free, but Oséias Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

AC Korban's Oséias Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Ruggeri in the 51st minute of play. But to his dismay, Dino Teodori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Flávio Baptista scored 2-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Biagio Sessa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Zola Predosa FC's Oséias Dantas threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dino Cala, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 80th minute Flávio Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Sessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Sessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falcão Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
