Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicasio Gabirel started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Delmiro Izotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CF JABATOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Locura Académica the free kick. Zacarias Santo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Gabirel's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Feliciano Remigio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Hernan Eudoxio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carlos Natal charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Natal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicasio Gabirel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarias Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Mundo in the 30th minute of play. After 35 minutes, Nicasio Gabirel made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. CF JABATOS's Zacarias Santo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Argider kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Remigio in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Eudoxio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Remigio to strike the kick off in the second half. Rogelio Sugar hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CF JABATOS's Feliciano Remigio got a free kick in the 55th minute. Nicasio Gabirel in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zacarias Santo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 62 minutes, Nicasio Gabirel made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. CF JABATOS's Zacarias Santo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66thth minute of the game Feliciano Remigio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Locura Académica's Hernan Eudoxio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Remigio in the 68th minute of play forced Locura Académica's goalkeeper Hernan Eudoxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Gabirel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Zacarias Santo made a huge save. 84 minutes into the game, Carlos Natal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Zacarias Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Eli kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Locura Académica's zone, Erubiel Cuartio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Eudoxio came out of the goal and Erubiel Cuartio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Locura Académica supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Locura Académica would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
