In the 15th match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Schivy to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Bøndorff during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Harry Bøndorff hit a great ball. When Ricard Armann came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Hønning fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricard Armann couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Polo Zubeldia could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Folmar Dandanell however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Atletico Aragua FC booed when Hønning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eberhardt Næsager didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manel Victorero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Wieder, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Froylan Chagavia got a free kick in the 31st minute. Sanchez Areta charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sanchez Areta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Sanchez Areta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Philip Grunø left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hønning fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Harry Bøndorff came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Hønning fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Bøndorff couldn't finish the play. After the first half Hønning were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ricard Armann scored 0-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manel Victorero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricard Armann in the 55th minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Manel Victorero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Hønning's Ricard Armann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After 74 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Ricard Armann. Philip Grunø struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Manel Victorero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hønning. Hønning's Folmar Dandanell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teyo Buiza in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Polo Zubeldia got a free kick in the 80th minute. Sixto Huemen hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Philip Grunø succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Philip Grunø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hønning's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip Grunø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manel Victorero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hønning's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
