Fidel Lorien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 52 minutes, Jeferson Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Three Lions LIMZ and the Monte Hermoso Beach players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Jeferson Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Monte Hermoso Beach's Eloy Raymundo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dênis de Castro. That made the score 2-1 after 56 minutes of play. In the 74th minute, Bernardo Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Three Lions LIMZ's goalkeeper Dênis de Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Raymundo. After 79 played minutes Monte Hermoso Beach got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Aztore. A collision led to Three Lions LIMZ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Cafu de Moraes hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, George Pavard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Three Lions LIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monte Hermoso Beach the free kick. After a rather tough play, Three Lions LIMZ's George Pavard got a free kick in the 94th minute. Three Lions LIMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Monte Hermoso Beach for a fine match.
