The supporters of Glintung FC booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlitos Belalcaraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdo Salas's late challenge caught a Glintung FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdo Salas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herry Arifin came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Virgilio Marcilla could save by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Herry Arifin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Virgilio Marcilla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Glintung FC's zone, Valdo Salas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zulham Item came out of the goal and Valdo Salas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Curcio Amer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zulham Item was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. PERSPOLIS's Valdo Salas got his second yellow card of the match in the 19th minute. The referee ordered Valdo Salas off the ground. After 20 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Salas. Herry Arifin in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgilio Marcilla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 24 played minutes Glintung FC got a freekick which was hit by Lukman Siahaan. Herry Arifin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Virgilio Marcilla made a huge save. In the 32nd minute of the match, Herry Arifin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Virgilio Marcilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herry Arifin in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Marcilla saved PERSPOLIS from getting behind. When Herry Arifin came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Glintung FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herry Arifin couldn't finish the play. Lukman Siahaan charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukman Siahaan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Glintung FC's Lukman Siahaan got a free kick in the 38th minute. Herry Arifins short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Virgilio Marcilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Herry Arifin in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgilio Marcilla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Virgilio Marcilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hari Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Curcio Amer made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Glintung FC's Lukman Siahaan got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Xuaco Otero struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Zulham Item didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PERSPOLIS. Curcio Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zulham Item having to interfere. Xuaco Otero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Zulham Item tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 minutes Glintung FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arash Lara who took care of the corner kick. The corner led PERSPOLIS's Arash Lara to fire away a dangerous shot which Zulham Item despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arash Lara got in the 66th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Zulham Item. This was a shot which ended in a score of 0-2. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Hari Potter put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Virgilio Marcilla. Zulham Item took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curcio Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herry Arifin in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Marcilla saved PERSPOLIS from getting behind. Zulham Item made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xuaco Otero in the 80th minute of play. Glintung FC made a substitution. Bakul Baksø replaced Herry Arifin. After 82 minutes Glintung FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arash Lara who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bakul Baksø in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Marcilla saved PERSPOLIS from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Andik Sihotang came free, but Virgilio Marcilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Glintung FC were victorious despite being under pressure from PERSPOLIS for much of the match.
