In the 7th minute of the match Célio Veiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Engin Özsungur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Engin Özsungur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Cappadocia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Quintal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 22 played minutes, Xiboquinha FC's Hélder Meireles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Engin Özsungur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xiboquinha FC reached it. Xiboquinha FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hélder Meireles in the 24th minute. After taking down the ball on Xiboquinha FC's corner Hélder Meireles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Engin Özsungur quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Cappadocia FC's Songurhan Torgay got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Hélder Meireles made a precise shot to the right of Engin Özsungur. Cappadocia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some careless play in the Cappadocia FC defense, Tomás Quintal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Engin Özsungur. The Cappadocia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Engin Özsungur should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute Tomás Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Engin Özsungur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Engin Özsungur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Xiboquinha FC's Jefferson Goiano got control of the ball when Garip İbrahimoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Célio Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xiboquinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cappadocia FC the free kick. The supporters of Cappadocia FC booed when Xiboquinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Quintal to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Cappadocia FC's Engin Özsungur got control of the ball when Hélder Meireles tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cappadocia FC's Şehzade Bal got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Engin Özsungur acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hélder Meireles. In the 91st minute Tan Yatman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garip İbrahimoğlu in the 93rd minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Jefferson Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Xiboquinha FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Xiboquinha FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
