When Anier Herena fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Machine Gun Kelly's protests and gave Anier Herena a yellow card for diving instead. Anier Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Anier Herena got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Machine Gun Kelly's zone, Temel Varan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Ruisko came out of the goal and Temel Varan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes Machine Gun Kelly got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Ishmael. In the 37th minute, Bedirhan Umural got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Samsunspor got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Vrejiu. 46 minutes into the game, Nemesio Acuña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Machine Gun Kelly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samsunspor the free kick. After 46 played minutes Machine Gun Kelly got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Acuña. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Temel Varan was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Anier Herena got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes, Nichifor Vrejiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samsunspor and the Machine Gun Kelly players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carolo Ruisko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samsunspor. Samsunspor's Bedirhan Umural got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Bedirhan Umural had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carolo Ruisko. Machine Gun Kelly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bedirhan Umural was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 89 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Ihintza came free, but Dante 舒 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Machine Gun Kelly's Moises Venceslas in 91 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Dante 舒 guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Bambang Wiatr struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Cayetano Ihintza did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-1 to the left of a surprised Dante 舒 98 minutes into the match. Samsunspor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
