Spectators: 7624 (Terracing: 5719, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arturo Montiel kicked off to start the match. When Isaac Saturnin came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Oshyros ll fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Saturnin couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute Arturo Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Perico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Arturo Montiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evelio Terres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zuberoa Mesia's late challenge caught a Oshyros ll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zuberoa Mesia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Zuberoa Mesia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Club Deportivo Santiago's Arturo Montiel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Arturo Montiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Aureliano Perico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Terres scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliano Perico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Arturo Montiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Santiago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oshyros ll the free kick. 30 minutes into the game, Oshyros ll's Elpidio Mercurio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Candina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 33 played minutes Club Deportivo Santiago got a freekick which was hit by Gomez Ayo. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Arturo Montiel sped through Oshyros ll's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aureliano Perico. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Aureliano Perico successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 47th match minute, Club Deportivo Santiago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gomez Ayo to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Elpidio Mercurio made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Santiago's Zuberoa Mesia got a free kick in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Montiel in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Perico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gomez Ayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aureliano Perico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gomez Ayo ran back to his position shaking his head. Zuberoa Mesia took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliano Perico. Aureliano Perico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 68th minute Arturo Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Perico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Anaya kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Aureliano Perico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Montiel's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Rafael Criales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Perico having to interfere. Felix Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Club Deportivo Santiago's Arturo Montiel got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliano Perico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuberoa Mesia, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Aureliano Perico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Montiel in the 93rd minute of the match. Club Deportivo Santiago's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
