The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dumitru Șişman during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karim Sifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Fuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Favila Pantoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Fuentes came free, but Karim Sifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Key Biscayne FC's Arturo Fuentes, in the 13th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Key Biscayne FC. Brice Carey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santio Cabello in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Nova Soccer booed when Key Biscayne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colin Kohler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brice Carey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Paris, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Karim Sifi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roderick Higgins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Nova Soccer's Karim Sifi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Soccer from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Fuentes in the 28th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Karim Sifi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Malla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 played minutes Key Biscayne FC got a freekick which was hit by Quinton Hood. In the 35th minute, Morgan Mišković ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brice Carey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Karim Sifi made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Roderick Higgins sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Bryan Rosenberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karim Sifi. The goal made the score 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Fuentes was the one to do the kick off. Karim Sifi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Burnham in the 52nd minute of play. When Dumitru Șişman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. After 53 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Șişman. Santio Cabello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Fuentes in the 58th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Karim Sifi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nova Soccer's Karim Sifi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Rosenberg in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryan Rosenberg in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karim Sifi saved Nova Soccer from getting behind. After 64 minutes, Arturo Fuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Key Biscayne FC and the Nova Soccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arturo Fuentes hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Karim Sifi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roderick Higgins in the 67th minute of play. Nova Soccer's Karim Sifi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Fuentes in the 68th minute of play. If Santio Cabello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Key Biscayne FC got a freekick which was hit by Quinton Hood. Nova Soccer's Santio Cabello got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Santio Cabello came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Nova Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santio Cabello couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Burnham came free, but Karim Sifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karim Sifi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Fuentes in the 80th minute of play. Karim Sifi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Rosenberg in the 82nd minute of the match. Bryan Rosenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colin Kohler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karim Sifi. Nova Soccer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Favila Pantoja got a free kick in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Key Biscayne FC had won after a very even match.
