After 10 minutes, Bebeto Ribeiro made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Doriva Porto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Porto in the 22nd minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Rânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Porto in the 23rd minute of play. Gigel Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Fotbal Club Vaslui from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Liviu Mușătescu got a free kick in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Mușătescu came free, but Orlando Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Gigel Rânceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doriva Porto. 45 minutes into the game, Doriva Porto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gigel Rânceanu. Doriva Porto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Doriva Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigel Rânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the EoDu Uai Sôccer players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
