Expedition Lubin's Boruc Zdrojowy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Alb in the 5th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Niculae Alb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Dacians Academy getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Augustin Oltean hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Expedition Lubin defense, Niculae Alb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boruc Zdrojowy. The Expedition Lubin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boruc Zdrojowy should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Dacians Academy's Marius Capisizu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boruc Zdrojowy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valer Logofeteanu struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Boruc Zdrojowy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dacians Academy. In the 36th minute Niculae Alb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Zdrojowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marius Capisizu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boruc Zdrojowy having to make a save. After 39 minutes, Stanislaw Rosiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Expedition Lubin and the Dacians Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Expedition Lubin's Stanislaw Rosiewicz got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niculae Alb to make the kick off. With his leg Boruc Zdrojowy managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Dacians Academy's Marius Capisizu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Horea Barbosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walery Cempa in the 53rd minute of the match. Marius Capisizu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Boruc Zdrojowy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marius Capisizu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boruc Zdrojowy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Dacians Academy getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Marius Capisizu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Raschke in the 65th minute of play forced Dacians Academy's goalkeeper Horea Barbosu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Expedition Lubin getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Szczepan Jaszcz hit a great ball. Dacians Academy's Marius Capisizu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Boruc Zdrojowy but with some difficulty. Horea Barbosu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Slawomir Trojanowski went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 77 minutes, Marius Capisizu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dacians Academy and the Expedition Lubin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stanislaw Rosiewicz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horea Barbosu. Dacians Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Augustin Oltean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boruc Zdrojowy. Expedition Lubin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Oltean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Augustin Oltean came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Dacians Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Oltean couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Marius Capisizu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boruc Zdrojowy, 2-3. Niculae Alb hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Horea Barbosu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Raschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacians Academy played a much better game than Expedition Lubin and deserved their victory. The Expedition Lubin players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
