With his leg Max Gilespie managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Vęgoria Team's Arkadiusz Lichorobiec fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arkadiusz Mochowak hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Hugh Gilbertson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kajetan Ludwiczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Lucjan Bambas put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Max Gilespie. Max Gilespie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Mochowak, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Gavião Kyikatejê's Max Gilespie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Gavião Kyikatejê from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's goal looked a bit too open when Hugh Gilbertson came free, but Kajetan Ludwiczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match, Tadeusz Hajduk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Max Gilespie was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 40 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's Arkadiusz Lichorobiec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max Gilespie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A long shot from Arkadiusz Lichorobiec in the 42nd minute of play was well struck, but Max Gilespie made a really good save at the right post. When Hugh Gilbertson fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gavião Kyikatejê's protests and gave Hugh Gilbertson a yellow card for diving instead. Hugh Gilbertson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiusz Lichorobiec to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Bernard Sierocki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Gilespie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Bambas in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Lucjan Bambas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Max Gilespie. Gavião Kyikatejê's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Bambas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Max Gilespie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Bambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Lucjan Bambas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Gilespie was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 65 minutes into the game, Lucjan Bambas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Max Gilespie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kenneth McGilbert hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Hugh Gilbertson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Lichorobiec came free, but Max Gilespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Tadeusz Hajduk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Bambas in the 83rd minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Max Gilespie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Ewan Hughes got a free kick in the 84th minute. Max Gilespie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Bambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Czeslaw Jaszcz with Lucjan Bambas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Vęgoria Team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
