Djamel Scheffer's late challenge caught a Gavião Kyikatejê's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Djamel Scheffer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Alexandrie CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djamel Scheffer to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Borges came free, but Max Gilespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavião Kyikatejê's Max Gilespie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Mora in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Mora notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gavião Kyikatejê's Max Gilespie. Max Gilespie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Christophe Boquet came free, but Max Gilespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Hugh Gilbertson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gavião Kyikatejê's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugh Gilbertson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jordan Robison hit a great ball. Alexandrie CF's Sam Hamon got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean-Christophe Boquet struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Max Gilespie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandrie CF. The Gavião Kyikatejê players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alexandrie CF were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugh Gilbertson was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Rodrigo Mora made a precise shot to the right of Max Gilespie. Gavião Kyikatejê's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 57th minute, Rodrigo Mora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Gilespie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 66 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Max Gilespie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deniz Gul. Max Gilespie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Mora in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deniz Gul got free with Max Gilespie in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregor Nelson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute John-Paul Atlan managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Mora in the 92nd minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Max Gilespie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Gilespie was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodrigo Mora showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 95 minute of play. Alexandrie CF played a much better game than Gavião Kyikatejê and deserved their victory. The Gavião Kyikatejê players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
