Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) BENA FK's Fredric Klint started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Manafu in the 6th minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Gaspar Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Fredric Klint left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BENA FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Mădălin Petruescu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Progresul Pitesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mădălin Petruescu couldn't finish the play. Mădălin Petruescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Alex Bucuță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Progresul Pitesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BENA FK the free kick. Alex Bucuță kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When BENA FK's Fredric Klint in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. BENA FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Palm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Fredric Klint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ciociu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredric Klint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Manafu came free, but Gaspar Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mădălin Petruescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Leheren having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mădălin Petruescu to make the kick off. Ilie Bran hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Fredric Klint's late challenge caught a Progresul Pitesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredric Klint helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BENA FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fredric Klint hit a great ball. A collision led to Progresul Pitesti getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dragoş Oloieru hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Wahlström. Mădălin Petruescu took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspar Leheren. Gaspar Leheren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Fredric Klint put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Victor Ciociu. Gaspar Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Oloieru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Oloieru in the 78th minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Gaspar Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Ciociu made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Tommy Palm sent off a good shot on target. Dragoş Oloieru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Leheren having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Fredric Klint's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Ciociu was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. BENA FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
