Dráuzio Souza was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Bola Forte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bola Forte really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when Vila Ema Ravens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Balada didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türker Sonalp in the 16th minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Nilson Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Vila Ema Ravens got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Rodrigues. 24 minutes into the game, Bola Forte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dráuzio Souza. Bola Forte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 30thth minute of the game Türker Sonalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamutes EC's Nilson Paranaense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dráuzio Souza stood somewhat misplaced when Bola Forte came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. Dráuzio Souza made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Matheus Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Nilson Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türker Sonalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bola Forte in the 44th minute of play forced Vila Ema Ravens's goalkeeper Dráuzio Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Türker Sonalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mamutes EC's Pedrinho Loureiro got a free kick in the 50th minute. Bola Forte hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Bola Forte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mamutes EC defense, Türker Sonalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson Paranaense. The Mamutes EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson Paranaense should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Vila Ema Ravens's Nilson Paranaense threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luís Luz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mamutes EC's Nilson Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Mamutes EC from getting a goal against them. With 74 minutes on the clock, Thomás Saldanha commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Vila Ema Ravens's Luís Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bola Forte hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simão de Lara in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráuzio Souza saved Vila Ema Ravens from getting behind. After 85 played minutes Vila Ema Ravens got a freekick which was hit by Severino Domenec. 87 minutes into the match, Vila Ema Ravens's goal looked a bit too open when Simão de Lara came free, but Dráuzio Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Simão de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Mamutes EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão de Lara couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Balada in the 95th minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Nilson Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mamutes EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
