In the 10th minute Gartzen Pons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elija Andres in the 13th minute of play forced Pincha FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute of the match, Isaias James got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xalbador Gamiz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 17 minutes, Ladislao Inocente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pincha FC and the GreenUnited players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ladislao Inocente hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pincha FC's zone, Gabrio Dozal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Bortzaioriz came out of the goal and Gabrio Dozal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gartzen Pons's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Isaias James received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xalbador Gamiz came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaias James slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Gervasio Bortzaioriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gartzen Pons, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 minutes Pincha FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabrio Dozal who took care of the corner kick. In the 34th minute Batista Liebana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 37 in the game by Isaias James from a close distance when the talented Xalbador Gamiz managed to make a qualified save. GreenUnited's players were relieved. Gervasio Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Reigada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Isaias James made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Reigada during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Gartzen Pons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Isaias James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalbador Gamiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xalbador Gamiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Francesco in the 63rd minute of play. Isaias James might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xalbador Gamiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias James ran back to his position shaking his head. Gartzen Pons's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Gervasio Bortzaioriz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 75 minutes into the match, Eli Villalobos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Bortzaioriz. Pincha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eli Villalobos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 79 minutes into the game, Domenico Solarriba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GreenUnited's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pincha FC the free kick. The supporters of Pincha FC booed when GreenUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Solarriba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Francesco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xalbador Gamiz. GreenUnited's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd minute Isaias James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalbador Gamiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Cirilo Francesco sped through GreenUnited's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xalbador Gamiz. Xalbador Gamiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias James's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gartzen Pons could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Gervasio Bortzaioriz however easily saved by the left post. Pincha FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of GreenUnited for a fine match.
