A very good chance for a goal. Jyrki Rajamäki made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Thierry Fouet sent off a good shot on target. Théodore Coulange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jyrki Rajamäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Fouet in the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thierry Fouet in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jyrki Rajamäki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Jari Welling made a precise shot to the right of Josselin Portet. Ground Control's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jari Welling took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josselin Portet. Josselin Portet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jari Welling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Josselin Portet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Palloketut getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eevert Hati hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Palloketut's zone, Thierry Fouet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jyrki Rajamäki came out of the goal and Thierry Fouet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thierry Fouet to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Thierry Fouet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ground Control's supporters rose to their feet, but Thierry Fouet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jyrki Rajamäki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th match minute, Palloketut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iisakki Niinimaa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Thierry Fouet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ground Control's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thierry Fouet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Thierry Fouet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Thierry Fouet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Josselin Portet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Welling in the 69th minute of the match. Just Bazoge hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jyrki Rajamäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Fouet, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Thierry Fouet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th play minute Jari Welling came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Josselin Portet. 1-4. Josselin Portet came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Palloketut's Jari Welling. But to his dismay, Jari Welling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 90 minutes into the match, Ground Control's goalkeeper Josselin Portet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jari Welling. 92 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Fouet came free, but Jyrki Rajamäki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Théodore Coulange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jyrki Rajamäki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Palloketut supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palloketut would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
