Rafael Cacciatore's late challenge caught a Portus Ganda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Cacciatore helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd minute, Rafael Cacciatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portus Ganda's Jeroen Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Botev in the 8th minute of play. Sven Seitse took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeroen Himschoot. Jeroen Himschoot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 14th minute, Pierre Van Leemputte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Sven Seitse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeroen Himschoot. Portus Ganda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven Seitse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goalkeeper Peeter Bonetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre Van Leemputte. Alex Mägi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeroen Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hristo Botev in the 25th minute of play. FC Dundee's Peeter Bonetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save FC Dundee from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Marc Van Kestbeek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portus Ganda's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Van Kestbeek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peeter Bonetti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Dundee's Hristo Botev got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 minutes, Hristo Botev made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Portus Ganda's Jeroen Himschoot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hristo Botev scored 0-6 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeroen Himschoot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute Kim Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeroen Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peeter Bonetti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernst Jansens in the 44th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pierre Van Leemputte to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Hristo Botev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Jeroen Himschoot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Sven Seitse put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Jeroen Himschoot. In the 59th match minute, Portus Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Hoolemans to maneuver through the defense. FC Dundee's Sven Seitse got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Seitse in the 64th minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Jeroen Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Alex Mägi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennert De Loose took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peeter Bonetti. FC Dundee's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeroen Himschoot made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Pogi Hanson sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Jeroen Himschoot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hristo Botev. Hristo Botev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jeroen Himschoot made a huge save. Jeroen Himschoot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hristo Botev in the 72nd minute. After 72 played minutes Portus Ganda got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Jansens. In the 76th play minute Hristo Botev came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jeroen Himschoot. 0-9. The supporters of FC Dundee booed when Portus Ganda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marten Ombelets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Seitse in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeroen Himschoot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Portus Ganda's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sven Seitse 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. In the 89th minute Rafael Cacciatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeroen Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeroen Himschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Seitse in the 91st minute of the match. Hristo Botev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jeroen Himschoot made a huge save. Jeroen Himschoot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven Seitse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 95 minute of play.
