If Marc Van Kestbeek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Wasyl Chwalkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorden Colebrandts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre Van Leemputte struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Wawrzyniec Banan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portus Ganda. Jorden Colebrandts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jorden Colebrandts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Chwalkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Portus Ganda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Latarnia Matarnia were winning 0-1.

Portus Ganda made a substitution. Steff Bastiaens replaced Hugo Kindt. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pierre Van Leemputte was the one to do the kick off. Pierre Van Leemputte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Wawrzyniec Banan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Portus Ganda getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lennert Dirickx hit a great ball. Zenon Burdzel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jorden Colebrandts. Portus Ganda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Wasyl Chwalkiewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorden Colebrandts. That made the score 0-2 in the 65 minute of play. Pierre Van Leemputte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Banan having to interfere. Pierre Van Leemputte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Wawrzyniec Banan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beniamin Czerny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. When Pierre Van Leemputte came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Portus Ganda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre Van Leemputte couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Latarnia Matarnia's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Van Leemputte came free, but Wawrzyniec Banan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Latarnia Matarnia getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ziemowit Sroka hit a great ball. Wawrzyniec Banan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Spoelberchs, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Lennert Dirickx took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wawrzyniec Banan. Latarnia Matarnia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Latarnia Matarnia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
