Pedrão Godoi came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Irons Chorzów's Wojciech Molski. But to his dismay, Wojciech Molski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 26 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Armando Brodel. 29 minutes into the match, Wojciech Molski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrão Godoi. Gurdurão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wojciech Molski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 33rd minute Wojciech Molski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Wojciech Molski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Irons Chorzów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wojciech Molski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Irons Chorzów's Wincenty Balkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Cardozo in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Gurdurão got a corner. The Irons Chorzów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anísio Paraibano ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 76 minutes, Cafu Cardozo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gurdurão and the The Irons Chorzów players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cafu Cardozo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Gurdurão's Cássio Amaral seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cássio Amaral the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gurdurão protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cássio Amaral had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cássio Amaral hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Cyprian Logewnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gurdurão! An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Bittencourt in the 87th minute of play forced The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Wincenty Balkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robinho Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wincenty Balkiewicz having to make a save.
