Potentia booed when ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caleb Painter didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Waterreus in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Reed saved ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ from getting behind. A collision led to ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Caleb Painter hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes S.C. Potentia got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi Apotheker. If Kip Velazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronnie Sutherland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Reed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Waterreus in the 19th minute of play. Berend Schalken made a great header on S.C. Potentia's corner, it was just that ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Simon Reed managed to reach the ball for a save. Fernando Waterreus struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Simon Reed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Potentia. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Waterreus to strike the kick off in the second half. When Fernando Waterreus came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the S.C. Potentia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Waterreus couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute Fernando Waterreus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Reed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Reed didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Waterreus went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jacco Bakker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Reed having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Ruud Schokkenbroek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Potentia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ the free kick. After 91 played minutes S.C. Potentia got a freekick which was hit by Ruud Schokkenbroek. Simon Reed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Waterreus in the 95th minute of the match. S.C. Potentia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
