Desiderio Ermengol's late challenge caught a Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Ermengol helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pucho's Desiderio Ermengol got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Juliusz Marek was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Deportivo Pucho defense, Teobald Ruszczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Botello. The Deportivo Pucho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Botello should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Teobald Ruszczyk made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Botello. Deportivo Pucho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Lucjan Oborski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Cesario in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Teobald Ruszczyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edgardo Botello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Teobald Ruszczyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pucho's zone, Wawrzyniec Ewertowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Botello came out of the goal and Wawrzyniec Ewertowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Plaski charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Plaski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Plaski to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Edgardo Botello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Wawrzyniec Ewertowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgardo Botello quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Tomás Checa made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie booed when Deportivo Pucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Botello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Marek in the 62nd minute of play. Deportivo Pucho were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anier Pirmin took the corner. Anier Pirmin charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Pirmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Deportivo Pucho got a freekick which was hit by Anier Pirmin. Deportivo Pucho's Edgardo Botello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Marek in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Barnaba Banas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Pucho's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
