The referee ignored Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's protests and gave Barnaba Banas a yellow card for diving instead. Barnaba Banas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Lucjan Oborski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Cordarryl in the 78th minute of the match. Francisco Berdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Kieca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
