With his leg Guillermo Timo managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when El Patriarca ®'s Marcial Iliana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cipriano Iban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Quinto's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Santo Quinto spun around in front of the goal 33 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of El Patriarca ®'s goal. In the 34th minute Santo Quinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Iban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lisandro Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Ralondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Timo having to make a save.

In the 91st minute Higinio Lertxun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Iban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Mannuel during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
