Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Guilherme Toscano started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Preator Edikt's Reine Pettersson got control of the ball when Luiz Guilherme Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Róbson Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Róbson Vasconcelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Róbson Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Brasil saved DENVER™ from getting behind. Luiz Guilherme Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Reine Pettersson made a huge save. Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Preator Edikt getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Olof Östman hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Alfredo Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. DENVER™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reine Pettersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gino Carneiro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils-Erik Sundberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Guilherme Toscano in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reine Pettersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Luiz Guilherme Toscano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DENVER™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 61st minute Olof Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Waldir Romero made a precise shot to the right of Reine Pettersson. Preator Edikt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Márcio Guedes got a free kick in the 68th minute. Luiz Guilherme Toscano took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reine Pettersson. Reine Pettersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 74 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Olof Östman came free, but Dida Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Luiz Guilherme Toscano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Reine Pettersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 7-1 became the score in the 85th minute when Luiz Guilherme Toscano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DENVER™ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Preator Edikt had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
