Dida Paraense struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. 龙枫博 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.F.. 龙钢超 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 莫义林 hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Marcinho das Neves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cylon's 龙枫博 didn't even have to move. 18 minutes into the match, Cylon's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Vieira came free, but 龙枫博 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adilson Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 龙钢超, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, 龙钢超 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute Dida Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙枫博 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Dida Paraense made a precise shot to the right of 龙枫博. Cylon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 龙枫博 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Ramalho in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th minute Régis Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙枫博 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of S.F.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cylon:s goal. 47 minutes into the match, Dida Paraense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 龙枫博, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dida Paraense to strike the kick off in the second half. Adilson Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 龙钢超, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Cylon's 尹桑文 got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cylon made a substitution. 叶建超 replaced 傅志骏. S.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcinho das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, S.F.'s Dida Paraense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 龙枫博 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, 龙钢超 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cylon's supporters rose to their feet, but 龙钢超 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adilson Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcinho das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. 龙枫博 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S.F.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
