When Michel de Brito fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desportivo Lucca MZ's protests and gave Michel de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Desportivo Lucca MZ got a freekick which was hit by Michel de Brito. A collision led to C.A.P.J. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alfredo Frederik hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Clemente Gaspar in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A.P.J.'s Reynaldo Tello. Jacinto Duarte hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Desportivo Lucca MZ defense, Teofilo Dolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelinho Cruz. The Desportivo Lucca MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Cruz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Desportivo Lucca MZ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dé Xavier hit a great ball. C.A.P.J.'s Iker Rolado got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A.P.J. had won after a very even match.
