Zé Madureira ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gabriel-Omar Hrabina hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Gabriel-Omar Hrabina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ediberto Varela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ollie Flesfadar. Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the ADM Taquaras defense, Casper Keato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubinho Abreu. The ADM Taquaras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubinho Abreu should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Fontes came free, but Ollie Flesfadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shaun Haley kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. ADM Taquaras were furious when Pedro Paulo Cruz was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Pedro Paulo Cruz hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Rubinho Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Hrabina, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When Humberto Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Velasco couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Rubinho Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Casper Keato made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. ADM Taquaras's Rubinho Abreu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaun Haley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Australian Youth Academy's Ollie Flesfadar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Australian Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkeley Glover in the 86th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Rubinho Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Australian Youth Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
