Manuel Berto came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Rene Pelagius. But to his dismay, Rene Pelagius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When Rene Pelagius fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lyons's protests and gave Rene Pelagius a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Berto came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Severino Iruinea. But to his dismay, Severino Iruinea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Vincent Ørkild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Vincent Ørkild managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. No me roban más plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Ørkild was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Adan Ramond kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Berto. That made the score 4-4 in the 90 minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, No me roban más plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Patrido to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
