Prospero Valente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 6 minutes of play, Pakorro AFC's Julian Galo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Valente was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyons's goalkeeper Prospero Valente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lyons's Prospero Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Galo in the 13th minute of play. Prospero Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Chorche in the 15th minute of the match. After 17 minutes of play, Pakorro AFC's Jaguar Murillo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Valente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nemesio Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Baudelio in the 20th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Lyons's Nemesio Bernal threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eugenio Baudelio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nemesio Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Baudelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Gallo Murillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Llanos in the 29th minute of the match. Prospero Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Corderun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaguar Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaguar Murillo in the 51st minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Prospero Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Valente was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Jaguar Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prospero Valente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Pakorro AFC made a substitution. Marcos Pabla replaced Timoteo Corderun. 67 minutes into the game, Marcos Pabla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Prospero Valente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julian Galo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Prospero Valente skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Prospero Valente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Chorche in the 75th minute. Julian Galo might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prospero Valente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Galo ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Prospero Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaguar Murillo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Valente saved Lyons from getting behind. In the 83rd minute Augusto Chorche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Jaguar Murillo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Prospero Valente, passed just outside the right post. After 90 minutes, Julian Galo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pakorro AFC and the Lyons players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pakorro AFC's Julian Galo got a free kick in the 90th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Marcos Pabla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Valente. Lyons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Pabla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Pakorro AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
