In the 14th minute, Geovani Leal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ove Hake. The goal made the score 1-0. Yuri Mazza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Ove Hake skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Birger Kleen's late challenge caught a Diamante Negro DK - VV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birger Kleen helped the player get up and apologised. Birger Kleen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Olívio Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Hake stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovani Leal's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The goalkeeper, Ove Hake, was totally fooled by Diamante Negro DK - VV's Edinho Pitta, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Nils Liedholm IF's Edvin Bergkvist got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ove Hake didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olívio Castro went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovani Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Nils Liedholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Leal came free, but Ove Hake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jörgen Bjurström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Alexsandro Garcia got a free kick in the 56th minute. Edinho Pitta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Luis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, Birger Kleen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nils Liedholm IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Kleen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
