Cumali Oykan was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Ricardinho Vander capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Litoral EC - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kıvanç Yuvakuran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kıvanç Yuvakuran in the 30th minute of play forced Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Joélson Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joélson Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kıvanç Yuvakuran in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Göktürk came free, but Joélson Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardinho Vander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
