Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) BLACK BULL's Augusto Gines started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hugo Diniz made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Augusto Gines sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th match minute, BLACK BULL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Green Squad FC defense, Ruy Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Diniz. The Green Squad FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Diniz should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute, Tarcisio Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Nando Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Green Squad FC's Luís Gustavo de Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicent Bull made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 16 played minutes BLACK BULL got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Trancoso. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Lúcio da Cunha hit a great ball. Hugo Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Gines in the 25th minute of the match. Ruy Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hugo Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Augusto Gines kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Diniz. That made the score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. Hugo Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. BLACK BULL were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Green Squad FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nando Martini took the corner. The corner ended in Nando Martini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Green Squad FC's Hugo Diniz did a great save. Hugo Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Syd Black in the 40th minute of the match. Gugu Oliveira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Gustavo de Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BLACK BULL's Ruy Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When BLACK BULL's Augusto Gines in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Green Squad FC's goalie prevented a goal. Hugo Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 73rd minute Augusto Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Loren in the 74th minute of play forced Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Hugo Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Hugo Diniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Gines's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Otávio Quintal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BLACK BULL! Green Squad FC's Tarcisio Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ruy Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ruy Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. BLACK BULL's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruy Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BLACK BULL had played much better football throughout.
