Campus Douro Academy's Américo Palha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Earl Blair in the 7th minute of play. When Rashad Lewis fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CLAYMORE COUNTRY's protests and gave Rashad Lewis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Rashad Lewis got a free kick in the 13th minute. Américo Ramires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gusmão Castro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The Campus Douro Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Américo Ramires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Américo Ramires kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Rashad Lewis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Palha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute Leal Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen McGinnis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Leal Brito made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the CLAYMORE COUNTRY defense, Américo Ramires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Owen McGinnis. The CLAYMORE COUNTRY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Owen McGinnis should have stopped the shot. Owen McGinnis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel França in the 54th minute of the match. Owen McGinnis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leal Brito in the 57th minute of play. Owen McGinnis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Ramires, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Campus Douro Academy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
