In the 6th minute of the match, Eugeniusz Borucki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but August Gamst saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. August Gamst stood somewhat misplaced when Eugeniusz Borucki came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Zenon Przybyciel sped through Saga TF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of August Gamst. If Espen Rishaug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 17 minutes into the game, The White Star WK's Eugeniusz Borucki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. August Gamst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in The White Star WK's zone, Torkel Aakre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofil Bronicki came out of the goal and Torkel Aakre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Borucki came free, but August Gamst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugeniusz Borucki in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Gamst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Eugeniusz Borucki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Gamst was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Espen Rishaug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofil Bronicki having to interfere. Saga TF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The White Star WK the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Saga TF's zone, Eugeniusz Borucki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Gamst came out of the goal and Eugeniusz Borucki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to The White Star WK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Zenon Przybyciel hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugeniusz Borucki made a kick off. August Gamst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Borucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Borucki in the 53rd minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper August Gamst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. August Gamst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugeniusz Borucki went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Eugeniusz Borucki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Gamst was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Zenon Przybyciel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for August Gamst. Eugeniusz Borucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. August Gamst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Eugeniusz Borucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Gamst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafal Mnich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. August Gamst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eugeniusz Borucki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Gamst was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The referee ignored The White Star WK's protests and gave Eugeniusz Borucki a yellow card for diving instead. August Gamst stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugeniusz Borucki's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Borucki notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Saga TF's August Gamst. August Gamst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
