Emilio Cruz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Denis Smidts fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bruges's protests and gave Denis Smidts a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Methee Gol made a precise shot to the right of Douglas Schoenmaekers. FC Bruges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 21st minute, Dunamis's Emilio Cruz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. FC Bruges's Douglas Schoenmaekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bruges from getting a goal against them. Douglas Schoenmaekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Cruz in the 29th minute of the match. Douglas Schoenmaekers was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Rodrigo Gutierrez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodrigo Gutierrez really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. 36 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goalkeeper Douglas Schoenmaekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Faro. 38 minutes into the match, Emilio Cruz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of FC Bruges's Douglas Schoenmaekers. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Douglas Schoenmaekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 played minutes Dunamis got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Gutierrez. 70 minutes into the match, Carmelo Cristofor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Schoenmaekers. FC Bruges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Cristofor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Cristofor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Douglas Schoenmaekers was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Henrik Lanfan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dunamis's Manuel Kinsen was substituted for Augusto Fresco.
