Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Goffrey Lissens took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ennio Costantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Goffrey Lissens in the 3rd minute of play. If Denis Smidts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. Douglas Schoenmaekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. FC Bruges's Douglas Schoenmaekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Farina in the 13th minute of play. Tony Henderickx kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ennio Costantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Smidts in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldo Sammartano in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Schoenmaekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the game, Aldo Sammartano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Douglas Schoenmaekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Douglas Schoenmaekers didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when io.dasola's Aldo Sammartano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Ennio Costantini came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bruges's Tony Henderickx. But to his dismay, Tony Henderickx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 44 minutes into the game, Aldo Sammartano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Douglas Schoenmaekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aldo Sammartano made a kick off.
