Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Willem-Jan Paelemans started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. RoBen FC's Arnfred Engersløv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Vandamme in the 2nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristof Rarbo during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Massenhove in the 6th minute of play forced RoBen FC's goalkeeper Arnfred Engersløv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Jelsby who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Arne Van Brusselen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 14 minutes of play, Fauna Utd's Yannis Candries made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnfred Engersløv was left in no man's land by his defense there! 18 minutes into the match, Willem-Jan Paelemans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnfred Engersløv. RoBen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Willem-Jan Paelemans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Kenneth Jelsby's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arne Van Brusselen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arnfred Engersløv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willem-Jan Paelemans in the 26th minute of the match. Willem-Jan Paelemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnfred Engersløv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willem-Jan Paelemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Vørsing's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arne Van Brusselen firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Yannis Candries put in a rough tackle. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fauna Utd! In the 40th minute of the game, RoBen FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Mattias Massenhove took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnfred Engersløv. Arnfred Engersløv dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Asgar Lehnsbo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Custermans to maneuver through the defense. Arne Van Brusselen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Jelsby, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Willem-Jan Paelemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arnfred Engersløv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asgar Lehnsbo in the 64th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Arne Van Brusselen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asgar Lehnsbo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arne Van Brusselen. Fauna Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Mark Vørsing had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne Van Brusselen. Fauna Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Vørsing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 71st match minute, RoBen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jess Oldendov to maneuver through the defense. Fauna Utd's Mattias Van de kauter got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. RoBen FC's Arnfred Engersløv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save RoBen FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristof Rarbo in the 81st minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Arne Van Brusselen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnfred Engersløv made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Dean De Koq sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Willem-Jan Paelemans kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnfred Engersløv. That made the score 2-6 in the 92 minute of play. Carl Van Hautvinck struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Arnfred Engersløv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauna Utd. When the final whistle sounded Fauna Utd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RoBen FC.
