Arne Van Brusselen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arne Van Brusselen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Lizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The Old Boys's Vinicio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannis Candries in the 18th minute of play. Arne Van Brusselen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Willem-Jan Paelemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Old Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Yannis Candries scored to the left of an out of position Vinicio Bidari, making the score, 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Lizar came free, but Arne Van Brusselen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of The Old Boys booed when Fauna Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean De Koq didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Old Boys's Vinicio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannis Candries in the 47th minute of play. Silvio Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santa Luis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Jairo Lizar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arne Van Brusselen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th minute Sixto Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Van Brusselen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes The Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Birjaio. Vinicio Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem-Jan Paelemans in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Fauna Utd getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Harry Custermans hit a great ball. Vinicio Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Van de kauter in the 68th minute of the match. Mattias Massenhove hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Rens vrolijx hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Jairo Lizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Arne Van Brusselen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Arne Van Brusselen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquilino Lauren. Vinicio Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willem-Jan Paelemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of The Old Boys were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Fauna Utd side.
