Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnulfo Hulberto started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Los Trip defense, Esteban Raebert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Matxin. The Los Trip fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Matxin should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute Iker Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Trip! 11 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Raebert came free, but Isaias Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Hulberto in the 15th minute of play forced Los Trip's goalkeeper Isaias Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Hulberto in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celso Sancho during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Celso Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes Hortensia FCG got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Hulberto. Zeledon Veremundo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcial Mingo firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Raebert in the 41st minute of play forced Los Trip's goalkeeper Isaias Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hortensia FCG's Isidoro Tercero got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Isaias Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Hulberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Hortensia FCG were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Veremundo was the one to do the kick off. Marcial Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Eduardo Paul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcial Mingo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Hortensia FCG's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Paul came free, but Marcial Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Zeledon Veremundo made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Mingo. Hortensia FCG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Los Trip getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ceferino Platon hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Hortensia FCG's Isaias Matxin threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnulfo Hulberto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hector Lobo's late challenge caught a Hortensia FCG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Lobo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Los Trip getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Hector Lobo hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Hulberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaias Matxin. Los Trip's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Hulberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 86th match minute, Los Trip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Taurino to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goalkeeper Isaias Matxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Lalla. Marcial Mingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Veremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes Hortensia FCG got a freekick which was hit by Damian Austin. In the 93rd minute, Eduardo Paul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Mingo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Trip had won after a very even match.
