Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Pedro Baptista started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sören Termander made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Pedro Baptista sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Baptista in the 5th minute of play forced Gunnarsbyn's goalkeeper Sören Termander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sören Termander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Baptista went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter de Melão's Pedro Baptista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sören Termander. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 16th match minute, Inter de Melão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Gunnarsbyn's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Baptista came free, but Sören Termander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnarsbyn's Sören Termander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Baptista in the 23rd minute of play. Ciro Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Sören Termander made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Ciro Amorim notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Gunnarsbyn's Sören Termander. Sören Termander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute Pedro Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Termander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Termander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Baptista in the 44th minute. Elói da Rocha lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Gunnarsbyn. Kjell-Arne Deckberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernani Dias. 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Stigsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Pedro Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Ciro Amorim sped through Gunnarsbyn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sören Termander. In the 65th minute, Inter de Melão's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Per Stigsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Amorim in the 68th minute of play forced Gunnarsbyn's goalkeeper Sören Termander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Pedro Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Termander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernani Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Stigsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wiliam Domingues took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sören Termander. Sören Termander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Gunnarsbyn's Leif Söderberg got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Wiliam Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sören Termander was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Ernani Dias was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edgar Uter. After some careless play in the Gunnarsbyn defense, Pedro Baptista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sören Termander. The Gunnarsbyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sören Termander should have stopped the shot. Inter de Melão walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
