The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eugenio Casiraghi kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Damião in the 24th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Enzo Alfonsi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Erik da Fonseca to make any attempt to save it. Erik da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Minichiello in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to XMAS getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fabrizio Eboli hit a great ball. Claudinho Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Minichiello, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinho Damião made a kick off. Alberigo Gianfrancesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik da Fonseca having to interfere. When Claudinho Damião fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored União Agrícola Barbarense's protests and gave Claudinho Damião a yellow card for diving instead. Claudinho Damião hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Erik da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Gianfrancesco in the 61st minute of the match. Erik da Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberigo Gianfrancesco went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute Ernesto Minichiello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. União Agrícola Barbarense's Erik da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Alfonsi in the 77th minute of play. The XMAS fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when XMAS's Alberigo Gianfrancesco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Erik da Fonseca came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by XMAS's Enzo Alfonsi. But to his dismay, Enzo Alfonsi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 87th match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Di Nino to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to União Agrícola Barbarense getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Delfim Melo hit a great ball. Anfilogino Di Nino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erik da Fonseca. União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 94th minute Enzo Alfonsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. XMAS had played much better football throughout.
