Santiago Hatch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateusz Wojtkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Krzysztof Biskupiak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Hatch was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The supporters of Skarpa Ełk booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frances Tisserand didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Skarpa Ełk's Santiago Hatch threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Krzysztof Biskupiak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Santiago Hatch managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Skarpa Ełk's Aleksander Limanowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aurèle Mélançon was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Marshrose booed when Skarpa Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Biskupiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Skarpa Ełk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
