After 16 minutes, Cleto Esdras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VIEDMA FC and the LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cleto Esdras kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Simon Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Simon Rito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Turi in the 26th minute of play forced LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's goalkeeper Norberto Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VIEDMA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Domingos Ariando in the 28th minute. Teofilo Veremundo's late challenge caught a LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Veremundo helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes VIEDMA FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Veremundo. Simon Rito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Justo Laffitte came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Rito slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. Norberto Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Ariando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Nereo Turi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Dantel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 45th minute of the match Domingos Ariando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Dantel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Norberto Dantel made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Domingos Ariando sent off a good shot on target. Pablo Etxahun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Eusko came free, but Norberto Dantel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Domingos Ariando could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Norberto Dantel however easily saved by the left post. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP's Norberto Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Leheren in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VIEDMA FC's Baltasar Orlan got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP booed when VIEDMA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Veremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. LOS BICHOS AZULES MDP succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though VIEDMA FC had controlled the match.
