In the 21st minute of the match Eliseo Orlondon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justo Laffitte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Estudiantes de La Plata made a substitution. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes VIEDMA FC got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Esdras. Rogelio Sotil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Sotil succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Angel Eusko's late challenge caught a Estudiantes de La Plata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Eusko helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes VIEDMA FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Eusko. 91 minutes into the match, VIEDMA FC's goalkeeper Justo Laffitte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Sotil.
