After 4 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by Nafiz Özaydın. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Patrik Nord managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Strandnäs's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Nord was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hatemi Cire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casper Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute Ivan Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatemi Cire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dynamo Strandnäs were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after istanbulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. The supporters of istanbulls booed when Dynamo Strandnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Pil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casper Johnsson in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hatemi Cire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in istanbulls's zone, Casper Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hatemi Cire came out of the goal and Casper Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes, August Asmundsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dynamo Strandnäs and the istanbulls players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Dynamo Strandnäs got a freekick which was hit by August Asmundsson. When Joacim Bergsten fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dynamo Strandnäs's protests and gave Joacim Bergsten a yellow card for diving instead. Dynamo Strandnäs:s Inge Kjellman showed great skill when he stopped Battal Cüneyt Zahir:s penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Casper Johnsson made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo Strandnäs's zone, Doğuş Özkaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inge Kjellman came out of the goal and Doğuş Özkaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fatih Maradona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Kjellman having to interfere. Casper Johnsson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahit Necip in the 59th minute of play forced Dynamo Strandnäs's goalkeeper Inge Kjellman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Leif Tillman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hatemi Cire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Oskar Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fatih Maradona succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 71 minutes into the match, Fatih Maradona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inge Kjellman. Dynamo Strandnäs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fatih Maradona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Hatemi Cire was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Casper Johnsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Casper Johnsson really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. istanbulls's Hatemi Cire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Johnsson in the 85th minute of play. Vahit Necip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Kjellman having to interfere. If Vahit Necip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 96 minutes of play, istanbulls's Fatih Maradona made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inge Kjellman was left in no man's land by his defense there!
