In the 5th minute Rafinha Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Augusto Varela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wincent Jaworski was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the game, Augusto Varela lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Wincent Jaworski. 19 minutes into the match, Renan Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni Ferraz. After 31 minutes, Winford Parson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympique Deleon and the Montevideo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Olympique Deleon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winford Parson to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Renan Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Giovanni Ferraz. Olympique Deleon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Samuel Dahlberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wincent Jaworski came out and tried to block the shot, but Samuel Dahlberg slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 35th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Dahlberg made a kick off. Wincent Jaworski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc-Joel Kröger in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Rafinha Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Montevideo's goalkeeper Wincent Jaworski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Renan Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Dahlberg came free, but Wincent Jaworski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Augusto Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Jaworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Varela in the 67th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Wincent Jaworski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincent Jaworski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Dahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Winford Parson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Deleon's supporters rose to their feet, but Winford Parson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wincent Jaworski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Montevideo's Wincent Jaworski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Varela in the 78th minute of play. When Edmílson Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montevideo's protests and gave Edmílson Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Edmílson Silveira hit a great ball. Wincent Jaworski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Winford Parson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mathias dos Santos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to Montevideo getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Edmílson Silveira hit a great ball. Giovanni Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Barbosa in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olympique Deleon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Montevideo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
