Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Junior Stover took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ivo Amaral came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Politehnica Timisoara's Junior Stover. But to his dismay, Junior Stover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The corner led FC Politehnica Timisoara's Emanuel Strugure to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivo Amaral despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Real Cruzeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Strugure took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Amaral. Ivo Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Junior Stover scored 8-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivo Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Politehnica Timisoara's Junior Stover slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivo Amaral. That made the score 9-0 after 41 minutes of play. Ivo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Stover in the 44th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Strugure in the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Cosmin Aluchei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivo Amaral. Real Cruzeiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosmin Aluchei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-0. In the 84th minute, Junior Stover left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-0. After 88 minutes, Júnior Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Cruzeiro FC and the FC Politehnica Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Real Cruzeiro FC booed when FC Politehnica Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Gâdea didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Politehnica Timisoara fully deserved thier win.
